45-year-old in hospital after Warnbro hit and run

A HIT and run in Perth’s south last night has left a 45-year-old man with serious injuries.
The victim was walking his dog in Warnbro around 7.45pm Friday and was crossing Curries Street near the intersection of Swallowtail Parade when he was struck by a blue Toyota Corolla.
The incident left him seriously hurt and he was taken to hospital by St John Ambulance.
The 36-year-old driver failed to stop at the scene but later turned himself in to police and is now assisting officers with their inquiries.
